Sophie McDonald D.C., M.S.
Dr. Sophie graduated Cum Laude from the University of Western States where she received both a Doctorate of Chiropractic and a Masters of Science in Sports Medicine. She has advanced training in dry needling, cupping therapy, myofascial release, sports rehabilitation, and movement analysis. During her education, she worked as a team chiropractor for Warner Pacific College and the Portland area school districts. She has also worked extensively on the sidelines of local sporting events including marathons, triathlons, and Crossfit competitions.
A Pennsylvania native, Dr. Sophie grew up running, playing softball, and skateboarding. She went on to compete collegiately in cross country and track and field at Gettysburg College where she completed her Bachelors of Science in Health Science. After college, Dr. Sophie channelled her athletic energy into ultramarathon running and Crossfit.
Dr. Sophie brings her own personal athletic and coaching experiences into her patient care. Her number one goal with every patient is to help them be pain free and reach their full potential.
When Dr Sophie is not at work, she enjoys running, particularly trail running. She finds getting “lost in the woods” to be the best stress reliever ever! She also enjoys Crossfit, paddle boarding, and soaking up the laid back atmosphere of Lake Norman.
Cole Munson D.C.
Dr. Cole graduated from Northeast College of Health Sciences with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. He has earned advanced training and certifications in Whole Foods Nutrition, Sports & Human Performance, movement analysis, cupping, and myofascial release. During his education he worked at the Depew Health Center and volunteered on the sidelines of many events including the Buffalo Marathon and the 50 Yard Finish 5k (Highmark Stadium).
Dr. Cole grew up in Jamestown, NY where he found a passion for golf and hockey. These athletic pursuits sparked curiosity for fitness and recovery which he continues to apply to the care of his patients. Dr. Cole’s #1 pursuit for each patient is to promote healthy lifestyles that are consistent and lead to the highest quality of life.
In his free time Dr. Cole enjoys spending time with his dog, Odis, playing new golf courses, and exercising.
Sheerah Lau D.C.
Dr. Sheerah’s introduction to chiropractic care traces back to her childhood, where she was first exposed to the profession by her father. She grew up as a competitive dancer with frequent injuries and discovered the benefits of chiropractic care. This ultimately led her to pursue a chiropractic degree to extend the same compassionate care that she received from her father.
Dr. Sheerah graduated with honors from Northeast College of Health Sciences where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic. During her time in New York, she was inducted into the Phi Chi Omega Honor Society and given the Distinguished Service in Foundational Services Award for her work as an anatomy lab guide. She has also volunteered at sporting events in her community such as the Buffalo Marathon and Tunnel of Towers 5K.
Hailing from Markham, Ontario, Dr. Sheerah completed her undergraduate studies at Western University, earning an honors specialization degree in Animal Behavior. With her diverse background of athletics and education, she brings a unique perspective to chiropractic, combining her love for movement with treatment. Dr. Sheerah currently holds advanced training and certifications in dry needling, Sports Science & Human Performance, cupping, and myofascial release.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Sheerah can be found spending quality time with her dog, exploring new cities and cooking up a storm with her partner. Identifying as a “foodie”, she welcomes suggestions for restaurant recommendations of any cuisine!
Jaime McDonald – Clinic Director
Jaime is a native of NC, having grown up in Huntersville. She has worked in medical chiropractic offices since 2018. Her role is to oversee the day to day operations of the office as well as working to ensure the safety of the patients and staff. She believes in being a resource and advocate for all patients.
When Jaime is not at work she enjoys being an avid runner and Crossfitter. She has competed in many events from The Transrockies Stage Race in Colorado, Racing The Planet Iceland, Grand to Grand 150 mile stage race in Utah, as well as many iconic marathons such as the Boston Marathon, New York City Marathon, and Chicago Marathon. Jaime runs all of her races while raising money for Herren Project, which is a non profit that helps provide free resources and support for the treatment, recovery, and prevention of substance use disorder. Jaime entered long term recovery in 2010 so helping others live a life free of the chains of addiction is a passion near and dear to her heart.
